Wildlife Prevention

Our Humane Wildlife Exclusions keep unwanted guest out for good!

Wildlife Prevention

Our humane wildlife exclusion service is the keystone to our business. Without it, the removal of wildlife will only be a temporary solution to a much larger problem. For example, even when you trap the problem animals, other animals will try to get in your house. This happens because there is now an unused opening, similarly, other species of wildlife will be attracted to the pheromones left behind from other wild animals. Wildlife tends to be opportunistic, so if they happen to stumble upon an opening in your crawlspace or a missing shingle on your roof, you might find yourself with a new roommate. Our full encompassing exclusions keep your home free of pest returning at Nolan Wildlife Control, LLC

Wildlife Entry Points

  • Roof Returns

Builders gaps in your eaves are a common point of entry for wildlife. Some can squeeze through with ease, and raccoons are known to expand these builders gaps and make them bigger.

  • Plumbing Pipes And Vents

Vents are a necessary part of a good roofing system because they release the hot air that would otherwise be trapped in your attic. Unfortunately, this release of air is an invitation to animals that can chew through the vent covers.

  • Soffit Screens

Soffit vent covers and screens are easy access for wildlife intruders!

  • Weep Holes

Rodents and snakes love to enter through weep holes! These are there to help pull in air and help the house breathe. We seal weep holes with galvenized mesh to prevent pest from entering into the attic.

  • Garage Corners

Garage corners can be entry points for rodents and snakes.

  • Ridge Vents

Ridge vents, even when installed correctly are prone to wildlife entry. This area often fails to keep animals out due to gaps that form along the bottom edge. Once installed, the ridge vent is fully protected from entry and the product is virtually invisible.

  • A/C Electrical

Yes, rodents can enter your home through your air conditioning unit's electrical lines and other entry points:

Power and coolant lines: These lines run from the air conditioner into your home through the siding or concrete, but they are often not properly sealed.

Air vents, ducts, and flues: Rodents can squeeze through these entry points and build nests in the warm, dry insulation.

Access panels and cable ports: These are other entry points for rodents.

  • Four Way Vents

Roof Jacks are used to receive and cover venting duct pipe from kitchen and bath fans, hot water heaters and for attic ventilation. These are common entry points for wildlife.

  • Louver-Vents

Louver or gable vents are suseptable to wildlife incursions. The built in screen that comes with the vent is made of screen door material and easy to chew or claw through.

  • Breeze Way

Raccoons, Rodents, Squirrels, And Possums will enter through the breeze way  where they have access to the subfloor of your home, interior walls, and attic.
